The Canoeing For Aria Challenge
In memory of Aria, Dr Tim Molitor and Dr Danny Magona are canoeing from Birmingham Medical School to Manchester, where Aria worked as a paediatric doctor. This begins the journey of their friendship, having met in 2009 at University of Birmingham Medical school. Working many placements together, alongside a love of Tennis, Aria Tim and Danny became close friends. Tim and Danny are canoeing to raise funds for the Brain Tumour Research, canoeing more than 100 miles over 5 days.
The MenThis begins the journey of their friendship, having met in 2009 at University of Birmingham Medical school. They became close friends through the medical school tennis club and shared many memories both on and off the courts.

Tim and Danny have completed numerous challenges together, including cycling John O' Groats to Lands end during their final year of medical school and then canoeing the Great Glenn Way in Scotland in 2018. They were keen to create a fresh challenge with meaning, in memory of their close friend, Aria.
The MissionThe mission is to Canoe from Birmingham to Manchester to raise funds for the Brain Tumour Research, canoeing more than 100 miles over 5 days. They will canoe through the canal networks, camping where possible en-route and portaging dozens of locks across on their journey.
The DetailsThe route will take them from Birmingham Medical school - Wolverhampton - Great Haywood - Stoke - Macclesfield and finishing in Manchester City Centre.
