Canoeing for AriaDescription:
In memory of Aria, Dr Tim Molitor and Dr Danny Magona are canoeing from Birmingham Medical School to Manchester, where Aria worked as a paediatric doctor. Tim and Danny are canoeing to raise funds for the Brain Tumour Research, canoeing more than 100 miles over 5 days and portaging dozens of locks. The route will take them from Birmingham Medical school - Wolverhampton - Great Haywood - Stoke - Macclesfield and finishing in Manchester City Centre. Read more... Description:
In memory of Aria, Chris Slack cycled Lands End to John O'Groats and documented his journey. He travelled a total of 1116.3miles, including 84,539ft of climbing. With a total of 102 hours of moving time, it took Chris 14 days to complete the challenge. Thanks to his friends, family and online support, Chris has now raised in excess of £2,040 for Brain Tumour Research and it's still rising!
